New BEF-Alpha courses in Rastatt and Baden-Baden.
The BEF-Alpha programme is for adult refugees who want to learn or strengthen reading and writing in the Latin alphabet. The focus is a solid grounding in language, work and everyday life — 980 over roughly 9 to 10 months.
The curriculum combines German lessons with career orientation (including a workplace internship), everyday skills, civic education and digital literacy. Courses run in small, learner-friendly groups.
A certificate with your language level.
Participants receive a certificate after completing the programme and its final test — with a statement of the language level they reached. This gives you a recognised record for follow-up courses, vocational training or job entry.
So young mothers with a small child can also join, the programme offers free childcare — funded by the BMI, BMFSFJ and ESF+.
